Acceptable Use Policy
Washermann Africa Ltd · Effective date: September 1, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy defines conduct that is not permitted on the Washermann Platform. It supplements the Terms of Service and the Vendor/Rep agreements.
2. You must not
- Break the law or use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
- Submit prohibited items for laundry: hazardous, flammable, biohazardous, weapons, illegal goods, or items containing them.
- Defraud or deceive — fake accounts, fake orders/vendors, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or referral/reward manipulation.
- Abuse people — harass, threaten, discriminate against, or endanger customers, Vendors, Reps, or staff.
- Circumvent the Platform — arrange payment or services off-Platform to avoid fees, or solicit users away from the Platform in breach of your agreement.
- Misuse data — collect, store, or reuse another user's personal data beyond what a task requires; no scraping or bulk extraction.
- Attack the systems — no hacking, reverse engineering, malware, automated access without permission, or attempts to disrupt or overload the service.
- Impersonate Washermann, another user, or misrepresent your identity or authority.
- Post unlawful content — infringing, defamatory, obscene, or misleading content anywhere on the Platform.
3. Vendor/Rep specific
- Handle garments and customer data with care and confidentiality.
- Do not falsify garment counts, order statuses, availability, or KYC information.
- Do not accept assignments you cannot fulfil in good faith.
4. Enforcement
Breach may result in warning, content removal, order cancellation, forfeiture of rewards/earnings linked to the breach, suspension, permanent ban, and referral to authorities where warranted. We may act immediately for serious breaches (fraud, safety, legal risk).
5. Reporting
Report violations or safety concerns to support@washermann.com.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the current version governs your use.
